Onsite Health and Fitness Assessments
Our 60 minute combined health and fitness assessments have been developed to assess an individual’s risk of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Please note: 30 minute health assessments (without the fitness component) can be provided upon request, or a package can be tailored with any of the above components.
Each assessment includes:
- Pre-assessment questionnaire (including family history, lifestyle risk factors, personal medical assessment and cardiac risk factors)
- Health consultation (addressing topics such as stress, sleep, nutrition, depression markers and activity level)
- Pre and post-exercise blood pressure
- Lipid analysis (including total cholesterol, HDL, total/HDL ratio)
- Blood glucose
- Body composition measures (height, weight, waist to hip ratio, body fat %, skinfolds if desired)
- Hydration status
- Metabolic age
- Fitness assessment (including functional flexibility and core stability tests) to estimate VO2 max and assess aerobic capacity
Seminars and workshops
Our facilitators are highly trained in education and the delivery of health seminars and presentations at your workplace. It is our objective to improve the health and well-being of every individual. These seminars are tailored to suit your organisation. You may want to incorporate these seminars with health and fitness assessments, or some of our other programs to create a holistic well-being package for your workplace.
